CARE AND SUPPORT
CARE AND SUPPORT
God calls us to live in community and support one another. The Care and Support Ministry strives to be present for people, both within and outside of our church walls. Whether people are seeking spiritual guidance from one of our pastors or support from a small group, our hope is that we may provide a listening and supportive presence to our community.

Throughout Scripture we encounter thousands of prayers. We have come to understand that prayer is an important part of our spiritual lives and faith journeys. At Gethsemane, we are committed to praying for all of God's creation,
the church, and all people.
You are invited to be a part of this ministry, and we provide a several ways that you can participate or submit prayer requests. Together, we will pray for all in need.
PRAY WITHOUT CEASING
Thursdays | 12 PM and 6 PM
In response to an invitation from Bishop Jen Nagel, we are joining congregations from across the ELCA in a call to prayer by hosting weekly "Pray Without Ceasing" gatherings. You are invited to join us on Thursday at 12pm and 6pm int he Copper Room (shared space outside of Prs. Lydia and Amy's offices.)
Come when youc and as you are. One of our pastors will lead us in a 30-minute informal, non-partisan service of prayer, song, scripture, and community.
As the aspostle Paul called the early Christians to pray without ceasing (1 Thess. 5:16), we also pray - out of love for God and neighbor, espeically the neighbors most affected by the changes in our world.
Rejoice always, pray without ceasing, give thanks in all circumstances; for this is the will of God in Christ Jesus for you. 1 Thess. 5:16-18
