SUNDAY MORNING ADULT FORUMS
10:30 AM IN THE FIRESIDE GALLERY
Join us this year as we gather to explore “What Is Beloved Community" and how do we embody it across our lives and culture. We have already begun these conversations about what it means to be Beloved, and how we can Be Loved and Be Love to others each other in community — but we still need YOUR voice and your presence! We are not Us without You. We cannot Become who we are designed to be without You. Please join us! Come, Be, Belong, and help us Become Beloved Community. Check out our Adult Forum & Education video archives here.
MONDAY BIBLE STUDY
10:30AM IN THE COPPER ROOM
Join pastors Mondays from 10:30AM - 12:00PM for a Bible Study focused on the coming week's Lectionary Texts in The Copper Room (Pr. Amy and Pr. Lydia's shared space). Together we read, reflect, share, and learn as the Holy Spirit leads.
Beginning June 23, we will depart from the lectionary for a few weeks to study Dr. Lois Malcolm's book Holy Spirit: Creative Power in Our Lives. If you've been waiting for a chance to jump into the mix at the start of something new, now's your time! Copies are available through Augsburg Fortress, Abe Books, Amazon, and more.
INSIDE THE TEXT
WEDNESDAYS ONLINE
Each week one of our pastors shares a short Bible study video on the gospel reading for the upcoming Sunday. Read along and learn some of the unique points of the scripture with historical context, literary criticism, and theological interpretations of the text. Learn why the preacher lifts up certain points of the text and how they fit themes we are focusing on at church. These lessons will enhance your ability to hear the Sunday sermon in a whole new way.=

Men’s Ministry encompasses all men of Gethsemane, young and old. It provides Christian growth and fellowship opportunities to our congregation and community. The purpose of Men’s Ministry is to encourage Christian discipleship through four different areas of our lives: faithful worship attendance, living in God's word, serving Christ's church and the world, and fellowship with other male identifying people in our community.
MEN'S GOLF LEAGUE
Thursdays from May to September
The Gethsemane Golf League is going strong! Our groups play at Glen Lake Golf Course in Minnetonka every Thursday; first tee time is usually around 9:00 AM. If you are interested in participating this year and would like to be on the weekly email for sign-ups, please email Dick Larson at dick.larson44@gmail.com or call him at (952) 240-1006.
Gethsemane's budding women's ministry is for all women, girls, and femmes looking for a place to belong and explore the theology of the Divine Feminine and the power of Christ's incarnation as carried and shared by women like Mary Magdalene, the Holy Mother, and even us. Throughout the year we gather to celebrate and honor the elements of creation - earth, water, fire, air - through contemplation and communal ritual at the fall and spring equinoxes, and more in-between.
Gethsemane's OWLS (Older, Wiser Lutherans) ministry is geared toward people 55+ but all are welcome. These events provide opportunities for fun, socializing, entertainment, food, and more! Contact parish nurse Susan Radde for more information.
FITNESS FOR OLDER ADULTS
Tuesdays and Thursday at 10:00 AM
Join Parish Nurse Susan Radde twice each week for a fitness class to improve muscle strength, mobility, balance, and flexibility. We'll meet from 10:00-10:45 AM every Tuesday and Thursday in the Fellowship Hall.
