Behold Bible Study

Have some spare time on your hands? Why not connect to God’s word!

Each week we will share a short Bible study video on the gospel reading for the upcoming Sunday. Read along and learn some of the unique points of the scripture with historical context, literary criticism, and theological interpretations of the text. Learn why the preacher lifts up certain points of the text and how they fit themes we are focusing on at church. These lessons will enhance your ability to hear the Sunday sermon in a whole new way.

  • June 7: Pastor John and Pastor Sarah reflect on their involvement in the Clergy March to honor the life of George Floyd and how the scriptures assigned for Sunday speak into our world at this time and place.

  • May 31: Pastor Sarah shares a video that invites us to explore the work of the Holy Spirit right now. Check it out and then join in the conversation by responding to the questions provided or sharing your own interpretations of Acts 2:1-11.

  • May 22: Who has made God known to you?

  • May 7: John 14:1-14, "I am the Way, the Truth, and the Life."

  • April 28: Join Pastor Sarah for an interactive Behold experience on the study of John 10:1-10. You are invited to share comments and reflections on the text by posting on the blog.
