In addition to paying for events online, the Online Giving module of Access Gethsemanealso allows you to do a one-time contribution or set up recurring contributions. Contributions may be completed via credit card (Visa or MasterCard) or directly from a checking account (ACH). Here is how to set up one-time or recurring contributions:
Log into Access Gethsemane using your username and password. See the login tutorial on the GLC website for help with this step.
From your Overview (front) page, select the Give Now button in the My Giving Summary box.
In the Enter New Contribution area of the Give Now page, click on the drop down box to select the category for your contribution. Some examples are Capital Appeal, Pledged Offerings, Other Designated Gift, Christmas, etc.
Enter the amount of your contribution.
If a description is needed, enter it in the Optional Memo box.
If this is a recurring contribution, mark the recurring contribution box. If it is a one-time contribution, leave this box unchecked. For more information on recurring contributions, click on the link “How Recurring Giving Works” link at the bottom of the page.
For one-time contributions, click on Add.
For recurring contributions, click on the drop down box to select Payment Frequency and select the end date or number of payments (this is a required field) and then click on Add.
Clicking the Add button will bring you to summary page and invites you to click the Give button to complete the process (we call this the “are you sure you want to do this” screen).
Click Give. This will take you to the Payment Information page.
Click on Visa, MasterCard, or the check icon (checking account)
Enter credit card or checking account information.
Submit the information.
