Outreach Ministry

"All Are Welcome" is true for every Gethsemane activity and event. We actively invite friends and the community.

Visit our Social Ministry page for many other activities designed to serve as outreach to our community such as the Thanksgiving Dinner and the After School for Kids program.

Benevolent giving to the Minneapolis Area Synod of the ELCA is part of our congregation's outreach. Approximately 57% of our gifts go on to the national Evangelical Lutheran Church in America (ELCA) to support national and international mission work.

Disaster Relief and World Hunger offerings provide an avenue of response to those whose lives and well-being are jeopardized by natural disasters, war, and famine.

Heifer International

New Horizons arranges lively events throughout the year, open to all as benefits for local, national and international missions.

Gethsemane participates in the Hopkins Raspberry Festival Parade and Family Days.

Gethsemane’s Summer Carnival provides a day of fun activities for community members of all ages.

Support Groups such as Gamblers Anonymous and Alcoholics Anonymous find a hospitable welcome when using Gethsemane facilities for their meetings.
