Outreach Ministry

Benevolent giving to the Minneapolis Area Synod of the ELCA is part of our congregation's outreach. Approximately 57% of our gifts go on to the national Evangelical Lutheran Church in America (ELCA) to support national and international mission work.

Our Latino Outreach Ministry strives to make connections in our community through various activities to build relationships with Latino families in our community.

Community Service Opportunities through Social Ministry initiatives such as Habitat for Humanity and our annual Community Day of Service enjoy strong participation.

The Hospitality Plus committee seeks to educate our congregation about issues in the gay, lesbian, bisexual and transgendered community and provide a hospitable welcome to all.

Support Groups such as Gamblers Anonymous and West Metro Grief Support find a hospitable welcome when using Gethsemane facilities for their meetings.
