The Dominick Memorial Library, established in 1948, has served Gethsemane for 60 years. It is a special place to browse, meet and find resources to grow in your relationship with Jesus Christ. The library is located on the upper level adjacent to the large gathering space. It is a self-serve library conveniently open during regular church hours. Come visit us!
Mission Statement
The purpose of the Dominick Memorial Library is to support the church’s mission by providing resources that serve the spiritual, emotional and intellectual needs of children, youth and adults in their faith journey.

- Borrowing Procedure
- Find the library card inside the book.
- Clearly write the month and date you are borrowing the material and your full name and phone number.
- Place card in wicker basket on library desk.
- Take a bookmark as a reminder date. Material may be kept for up to four weeks.
- Return material in large wicker basket on top of the cabinet under the magazine rack.
- Material Donation Policy
- Donations may include news and lightly used books, videos, DVDs, CDs, and audiotapes that promote spiritual and intellectual growth.
- Materials should be published within the last ten years unless they are considered “classics.”
- All materials should be in good physical condition.
- Monetary and memorial gifts are welcome.
- The library committee will evaluate all donations for acceptance and placement at their discretion. Unused donations will be returned to donor or given to suitable charitable organizations.
