Open Play is a time for preschoolers and parents to gather for fellowship and fun. The Fellowship hall is transformed into an inside playground - a safe place for kids to run, jump and play inside. This free event is open to the community.
It is that time of year again for kids to think about what artwork they would like to display at Gethsemane's annual Kids Art Show.
The Kids Art Show will be held at Gethsemane from February 19 through 26 with a reception held on February 19 between services.
We will accept all art mediums: painting, sculpture, textiles, writing, drawing, you name it – even media art; videos, power points or music that has been composed on garage band. We would love to see all of the Sunday school kids participate!
Each child can display up to two pieces. Art work can be brought to the church office until February 12.
Please label the art with Art Show Labels. If you have any questions please call Tiphanie at 952-935-1753 ext. 115.
Sunday School is held during Education Hour between services at 9:40 am.
This year we will activate our Sunday School kids faith with a curriculum called Spark. Spark is a Sunday school faith formation program that empowers kids' creativity and imagination. With Spark, kids open their Bibles each week and engage in Scripture! Kid’s faith will grow as they encounter God’s Word while participating in activities that reinforce the Bible stories.
Spark lessons are designed to engage every child in active learning! Age-appropriate lessons designed for multiple intelligences reinforce key points of the stories and help kids get more out of Sunday school, no matter what their learning style may be.
Join us this year as we help our kids be Engaged by God in a Living Faith, at Home, at Church and in the World.

Show us your Elements of a Living Faith (ELF) magnet set. Take a photo of your Bulletin board, Message center, Refrigerator door, or where ever you put it. Send it us and we will add yours to the photo album on the website. Who knows...maybe then we will have a contest to pick the neatest (or most-messy) fridge door!
